Mediterranean Inspirations

When we first visited this home, we were captivated by the height of its ceilings and the spaciousness of its porches. It was the perfect blend of Islamic architecture and contemporary minimalism. What this space needed was warmth, high-quality finishes, and special attention to detail—elements that were missing at the time.

Originally, the house was completely white. We decided to change the façade color to a sand tone that gently embraces its forms and softens the connection with the surroundings. Inside, we incorporated wood to add warmth: we installed oil-finished oak floors and clad walls with custom-made furniture in treated iroko wood.

All the bathrooms were redesigned with microcement on floors and walls. A standout feature is the wooden countertop with a low, wide matte white sink by NIC Ceramics.
In the bedrooms, we followed a coherent interior design approach, except in the master suite, which was personalized in greater detail: a wooden desk, custom iroko nightstands, and linen headboards. Each room was individualized through different lighting arrangements.

La habitación principal incluye un cabezal a medida en iroko y un baño con encimera y lavabos en madera natural, acompañados de un mueble inferior del mismo material.

The kitchen was designed alongside the Enedos team and integrates the dining area within the same space. A standout feature is a mirror-effect door system (ALBED) that conceals a pantry and a wine cellar, custom-designed to meet the client's needs. These doors reflect the views of the golf course, creating a sense of doubled spaciousness.

The kitchen features a central island clad in stone-effect porcelain, which incorporates a bar and work area, visually and functionally connecting with the dining table.

The day zone has no doors; everything connects through porches and changes in elevation.

We contributed furniture such as Carl Hansen chairs, Riba tables, Atemporal sofas, Turkestan and Cotlin rugs, lamps by Santa & Cole, Bover, and Gubi, Detjer coffee tables, a Natuzzi armchair, outdoor furniture from Ethimo and BKS, and sun loungers by Kettal.

In the main living room, a custom-designed wooden iroko desk was created for our clients to work while enjoying privileged views. The desk features carved recesses to integrate leather mats. We wanted a desk that conveyed solidity and presence but also played with lightness since it is part of the living area and shouldn’t dominate the space. The desk is paired with a chrome Gubi lamp and two Arper chairs in matching tones.
